Man...that segment was scary...and Vicki was looking particularly man-ish...today. I think it's her thick neck. She's also looking more and more like the Cryptkeeper from 'Tales From the Crypt' every week...

Her sister looked like the witch from 'Army of Darkness' who tries to throw the boiling water on the girl, but then gets shot...many many times with the boomstick after flying in the air...and then coming back in S-Mart. You know the one?

The cycle guy driving the LP640 has given the best car review this season for this show...not that it was all that great...but it made me feel like I learned more about how the car drives, than the typical 'read off the bhp and torque numbers, the top speed, the price. Then tell me it comes with a cd player, and aircon. Then drive it for a while without telling me anything useful' type of review.

Lovejoy's jab at the electric car seemed a bit...cruel. The one where he says something like '20 miles there, twenty miles back...unless you use the fan or the radio, then it shaves 10 miles off.' It seems like he said it just to get a laugh from his soccer buddies. For some reason, when Jeremy Clarckson does it, it's funny...when Lovejoy does it, he just comes off as a jerk.

Dipshits...you reviewed the Venturi Fetish a couple years ago, and there's a new one now. There's also the Tesla Roadster which is based...get this...on a LOTUS!! It's even part British! 0-60 in 4sec, 130mph top speed, and 250 miles on a charge. It costs about $2.50 in electricity to fill up. The G-Whiz got 40 miles on 89p...I'll assume there's 100p in a british pound, and with the exchange, we'll say it costs between $5 and $6 to get the same 250 miles the Tesla gets for $2.50. WTF?!?!

I wish it would have been a bit closer on the Van race...and it's not like the end was that close anyways, because the VW had already finished a lap...so that just means the GMC has less-than half of the average speed, when you factor in that he had to use shortcuts. I was never THAT big of a Tiff-the-presenter fan (don't get me wrong, I love Tiff-the-driver) but he's easily the most likable personality on the show, even if it seems he's filming his parts for some other TV show, and Fifth Gear just happens to show some of his bits.

Toms bit was pretty good and informative, but it could have been better. a) When he says 'The designer of the front has never meet...' You can see that the left side of the shot is frozen...the water waves, too...when Tom #2 walks in. They should have spent the extra $50 and made it fluid.

b) And...were those nurses supposed to be 'singles out on the town'? shudders I feel sorry for you British blokes out there, if that's what's waiting for you at the clubs! When he's hugging them all before they start, the one in white looks like she's got Down's.

c) He should have brought up that the tiered seating eliminated the drivetrain 'hump' for the middle back passengers.

d) He should have said 'I only have one offspring...that I know of...wink'

e) How are three women being driven around with a microphone supposed to be the same as having 2 or three kids who vomit, spill, and drool?

The crash test was kind of pointless, too. 'Wow, hey...these are dangerous...someone should do something! Oh, BTW...they don't do them like this anymore...' Also, they do the same thing Mythbusters does...they showed way too-much of the finale before ther segment. When they kept showing teasers, they showed the car airborn and sideways. They should have stopped it RIGHT at the point of contact with the rail, like they did with the Smart/concrete wall crash test.

All in all...Vicki Love-Butt-Joy needs to go away please, Tiff needs to seem like he's actually a part of the show, and not just like the local weather people during Good Morning America when Al Rocker says 'And here's what's going on in your neck of the woods' and they cut to the local guy for a moment, but he's not really a part of the national broadcast.

I miss JP, as sad as that may seem...

And lastly...um...the Dirty Sanchez part? Yeah...that should have been on the cutting-room floor.

To περίεργο είναι πως ο Ford, εκτός από παρουσιαστής στο 5th Gear, γράφει και στο... Top Gear

Aν, λέω αν, ο Hammond δεν επιστρέψει σύντομα στο Top Gear, νομίζω ότι τον Ford θα ήθελα να δω στη θέση του...

Δεν νομίζω πως χωρούν δυο μαλλιάδες, που σχεδόν παίζουν και αντίστοιχους ρόλους, στην ίδια εκπομπή!
Έβαλαν τον May να μάθει να οδηγάει με το TVR, έκατσε ο Tομ δίπλα στον Tιφφ να μάθει μέσα στο Lambo-VAG!

Kάθε εκπομπή, στο βάθος του χρόνου που την έχουμε απολαύσει ως τηλεθεατές, έχει δημιουργήσει ένα καστ το οποίο δύσκολα θα μπορούσε κάποιος να δει μια μεταγραφή από το ένα στο άλλο κανάλι και εκπομπή αντίστοιχα...

Θα ήταν πάντως άξιο μελέτης τα συγκριτικά και διαχρονικά δεδομένα της τηλεθέασης της εκπομπής, ανεξάρτητα κι αν δεν βγαίνει στον αέρα ο άμεσος ανταγωνιστής της (ασχέτως κι αν προβάλλονται άλλες μέρες η μια από την άλλη...)

Δεν βλεπεται το 5th Gear. Η VBH σπαει νευρα γελωντας συνεχως. Δεν εχουν και λεφτα για στουντιο γι'αυτο βγαινουν απο το Ace Cafe...

Οι επαναληψεις του TG συνεχιζουν να απουσιαζουν απο τα 3 καναλια που παιζαν πριν το ατυχημα. Επιστρεψαν τα βιντεο του Jeremy όμως.
