The plant, worth nearly $14 billion, will be Toyota’s eleventh manufacturing facility in the U.S., creating 5,000 new jobs. Moreover, the new factory aligns with Toyota’s “best in town” approach, which focuses on local investments and contributing to the local community.

And now, something I find most important, even though it was mentioned at the very end of the official statement. So far, Toyota has invested $49 billion in the U.S. and provides over 280,000 jobs. Why does this matter?
