Renault's deputy head of aerodynamics Jon Tomlinson will head Williams's aero department when he joins next March, and his division has been boosted by the recruitment of former McLaren senior aerodynamicist Amit Chakraborty.

The team's new chief designer will be former Prodrive designer Ed Wood, and he will be joined by ex-Jaguar Racing chief designer John Russell, who has been working in Australian V8 Supercar for the past three years.

BMW announced on Thursday that they will stick with their current racing pair of Nick Heidfeld, 29, and Robert Kubica, 21, for 2007. In addition, 19-year-old Sebastian Vettel, who has impressed in the Friday practice sessions, will be promoted to regular test and reserve driver.

The World is 300 islands clustered together in a nine kilometre zone to resemble Earth from an aerial photo.

Schumacher's island, apparently part of 'Antarctica' on the artificial globe, is worth about $7 million.

Schumacher's manager Willi Weber confirmed: 'In a couple of years it will be finished. Then Michael and Corinna will have their own holiday island!

'Perhaps he will build a kart track on it.'

Ross Brawn leaves Ferrari

Today Ferrari has confirmed that Ross Brawn will leave the team at the end of this year. Paolo Martinelli, who was active at the engine department, will also leave the team.

At Ferrari there are some changes for next year. Stefano Domenicali will become Ferrari's Sporting Directory, while Mario Almondo will take over from Ross Brawn to become the team's Technical Director.

In a statement Ferrari said: 'Ferrari offers its most heartfelt thanks to Ross Brawn and Paolo Martinelli for their immense contribution in the drafting of an extraordinary chapter in the history of the Scuderia and motor sport, which has produced a tally of eleven world titles (six Constructors' and five Drivers,' all of these with Michael Schumacher) and of around ninety wins in Formula 1 Grands Prix.'

'After years of hard and demanding work, Ross Brawn has decided to turn his attention to his personal life, while Paolo Martinelli will take on an important role within the FIAT Group: to them go best wishes for a satisfying future.'

3-4 πρωταθληματα που πηρε ο MS με την Ferrari τα πηρε ουσιαστικα οδηγωντας με το ενα χερι λογω

-Ελλειψης σοβαρου ανταγωνισμου
-Status 1 στην ομαδα (κοινως ενα σκυλακι για team mate)
-Εχοντας μακραν το καλυτερο μονοθεσιο στο grid..

Γνωμη μου ειναι πως ο Αλονσο εχει σε μεγαλυτερη υποληψη τα κατορθωματα του Βραζιλιανου παρα του Γερμανου..Και για αυτο εστιασε εκει..

οπως δηλαδη πηρε κ αυτος του δυο τιτλους του αφου ειχε τα δυο τελευταια χρονια το καλητερο-γρηγοροτερο κ ποιο αξιοπιστο μονοθεσιο στην F1 !!!!!

το 1ο το πηρε περπατοντας...

το 2ο του το εδωσε η φεραρι με τις μ@λακιες της στα 2 τελευταια GP ...

θα εχει ενδιαφερον να τον δουμε του χρονου τη θα κανει με μονοθεσιο απλα καλο κ οχι το καλυτερο
