Eγω το κατανοησα διαφορετικα: Βλεπω να καιγεται το αυτοκινητο μου και ριχνω καντηλια σε ολους στη Ferrari, και σιγουρα και στο QC τμημα που φερει ευθυνη επ' αυτου. Δε θα ημουν καθολου ευχαριστημενος απο αυτο.

Οταν δινεις μερικα χ00.000 ευρω για αυτοκινητο, πιστευω λογικο ειναι να εχεις και καποιες απαιτησεις για την ποιοτητα λειτουργιας. Ειδικα αν κανεις το ονειρο πραγματικοτητα και αυτο παρει φωτια, η ξενερα ειναι ακομη μεγαλυτερη πιστευω. Πολλοι κατοχοι 458 παντως εχουν μια πολυπληθη συλλογη Ferrari ωστε να μην το βλεπουν το θεμα τοσο ρομαντικα οσο εσυ κι εγω.

The incidents is due to basic concept of fuel vapor. Whenever there is gas in the tank, the vapors from the fuel causes pressure in the tank. Those vapors then is to be released into the carbon canister where they are broken down so they do not pollute the air.

On that canister there is a vent hose that runs to the passenger side rear front half wheel well. The old design on the F430 had the vent hose basically just being blocked/diverted so the vapors are guided out of the wheel well.

With the design on F458, there was a chance that vapors could escape into the engine compartment. The vehicle has very little engine room and gets extremely hot, therefore sometimes causing the unthinkable.....

The new design since all of the 458 fires, places the hose directly into a housing that is vented into the wheel well. The hose is clamped onto the housing and there is no way that vapor can get into the engine compartment.

Πολυ καλη ταινια, μου φανηκε αρκετα straight forward, δε χρειαστηκε ιδιαιτερη συγκεντρωση.

2 πραγματα δε μου αρεσαν: Με κουρασε η -ισως και περιττη σε ολη της την εκταση- ιστορια της Mal και μου την εσπασε η geeko Αriadne (προσωπικοι λογοι: μου τη δινει στα νευρα ο τροπος που μιλανε στις αμερικανοhollywoodιανες ταινιες οταν ξαφνικα ολα γινονται 3εκαθαρα ή/και βρισκουν λυση στο προβλημα τους και πετανε 1000 λεξεις το λεπτο).

Μετά από μέτρια-καλή στούκα,επανέρχονται αυτά τα αυτοκίνητα ή απλά γίνονται 'πειραματόζωα'?

From the horses mouth - Richard [Losee] was going close to 200mph, and hit a bump in the road that sent him airborne. The car rolled 7 times and was flat as a pancake. Fortunetly he was wearing a helmet. He has cracked vertebrae in his neck and back, 4 broken ribs, broken sternum, some broken fingers, and the only surgery he made need is on his thumb. Nothing life threatening. He is refusing pain medication because he thinks he needs to be punished!

First off, I know the owner of this car. To be more accurate, we are acquaintances through a mutual friend. Anyway, this accident really wasn't his fault. This was for a charity event where the owners of many local exotics head out to the desert and the highway patrol clocks them at their highest speed and writes them a ticket. The owners pay the ticket not to the patrol but to the charity. It's a friendly competition/charity combination. There was a washboard effect noted in the road after the incident that wasn't reported to the drivers. When he went over the washboard effect, the nose of the car captured air, and he proceeded to flip 6 times end over end at just over 200 mph. It's amazing the car is still as in-tact as it was. Furthermore, it's amazing how well the tub protected him and that he is alive today. (albeit he spent a couple months in the hospital) That being said, he won't be driving this new car much anyway. His column with road and track obviously ended with the wreck, and as far as I know he doesn't have any plans to continue it, and therefore has little reason to drive the car to as many miles as he can. His new goal is at the salt flats. I'm not sure exactly what he's doing with it, or what he's trying to accomplish, but our mutual friend quoted him as saying that he wants it on the salt flats this year with a professional driver. We'll see.
