Next 27 September 2006 in Neckarsulm (Germany), Audi AG. will officially revealed to the press & public his new Audi R8 model. Like everybody know, this very waited high-performance supercar, share the technical platform with the Lamborghini Gallardo and was presented as the 'Le Mans quattro' concept study three years ago at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show. This new R8 road-legal vehicle has inherited the genes of the Audi R8 Motorsport, six-times winner of the Le Mans 24-Hours race.

This special day will be historic for Audi Tradition because this 27 september 2006 coincide with the launch in 1906 of the first original 'Neckarsulmer Motorwagen' from the NSU factory. This means that this month they are celebrating the 100 Years of NSU Factory with the official production start of the Audi R8 (30/09/2006) in the new production plant.

The launch car will be the N/A V8 FSI 4.2L 440hp version (20hp more than B7 RS4)

• unique differential
• Aluminium body (Audi Space Frame ASF technology)
• Only 2 seater
• 19' wheels with 20'+ option (19'' : 235 front / 295 rear)
• About 3250lbs ~ 1470 kg
• Magnetic ride system
• Bi-xenon headlamps with 12 side LEDs
• Start button like in the B7 RS4
• Dry sump oil system
• Short sport exhaust system
• two tone color will be an option

είναι σε καλό δρόμο η εταιρεία,

γιορτάζει και θρυλική επέτειο NSU... προσέχει πιστεύω..
