Look for Saab to get a car based on General Motors’ Kappa small-car platform, most likely in the form of a sports car that harks back to Saab’s rally-bred Sonett. The possibility seems nearer now that Saturn’s Kappa car, based on the Curve concept created by the Saab advanced design team in Gothenburg, Sweden, has been given the go-ahead. “That we’re exploring a Sonett-inspired two-seater should be no surprise,” says a Saab source.
