Η φημολογία όντως υφίσταται, αλλά νομίζω πως δεν πρόκειται να συμβεί κάτι τέτοιο. Ο λόγος που ο ΜΣ ίσως πάγωσε τις διαπραγματεύσεις θα μπορούσε να είναι μια πιθανή αποχώρηση, ή έστω το ενδεχόμενο να το σκεφτεί. Να και τι είπε ο ίδιος ο Haug:

Καλά ρε, χαλάρωσε...Δεν είπε κανείς ότι ο ΜΣ δεν έχει δική του βούληση και ότι τον σέρνει ο Weber από τη μύτη, αλλά μη νομίζεις ότι και ο Weber θα περιμένει τον Schumacher να του πει να δράσει

Αυτή η φήμη ξεκίνησε χθες και απορώ πως 'πιάνονται' μερικοί και το διαδίδουν! Το έχει πει ο Schumacher 100.000 φορές! Θα τελειώσει την καριέρα του στη Ferrari! Ούτε ανάγκη έχει από χρήματα, ούτε έχει καμιά όρεξη στα 36 του να ξαναρχίζει με μια ομάδα καινούρια για αυτόν! Για να μην αναφέρω και την φιλία του με τον Jean Todt και την 10χρονή συνεργασία του με τον Ross Brawn!

Και κάτι άλλο! αν ίσχυε κάτι τέτοιο (ο Σουμάχερ να πάει στη ΜcLaren) ποιόοοος οδηγός θα έπαιρνε πόδι?? ο Raikkonen ή ο Montoya??

Schumacher: 'I am closely tied to this team'

Michael had planned to return home after the race in Turkey as he missed his wife, Corinna, and their children. To reflect that it had been a disappointing weekend would be an understatement: “It’s sad but true, at no time over the weekend were we competitive, not in qualifying, during the race nor even during free practice. Unfortunately, we could not continue the form we had shown at Hockenheim or Budapest. We have, instead, taken a step back”, declared the current world champion.

Consequently, it is understandable that attention is now focused on the Grand Prix of Italy. Monza is Ferrari’s home race and what was not needed was the handicap of having to qualify first. “We obviously wanted to do all we could to improve our position”, stated Michael. “It was down to the fine work of the team in substituting the parts damaged in the clash with Mark Webber. This is typical of the guys’ skill. Owing to them I was about to go back out, something that allowed us to run more laps than those drivers who had retired. Overall, this was the best thing that happened all weekend. I think that it is comprehensible that in a situation like that you try all you can. For us Monza is very important and even though we are not as good as we were in the past, we want to do the best we can for our fans. We owe it to them and to ourselves”.

This is the reason that Ferrari will be testing intensively this week. Michael will be on the track on Wednesday and Thursday. Since the test programme has been modified from that of a week ago, Michael will be flying to Italy tomorrow and will not be able to take part in Thomas Hδίler’s farewell football match in Cologne. “It is a shame. I would have loved to have gone but, unfortunately, it won’t be possible”, revealed Michael. He is a keen footballer himself: “It would have been enjoyable, a fantastic evening”.

Michael concluded by touching on one last subject: “I do not want even to comment on the rumour that I may be leaving Ferrari. Everyone knows that I am closely tied to this team”.

Πέρα του γεγονότος ότι ο JPM δεν θα φύγει εύκολα απο την McLaren δεν νομίζω ότι ο Dennis είναι διαθετιμένος να δώσει στον MS το συμβόλαιο που έχει με την Marlboro.

Όσο δε για τον ίδιο τον MS μία τέτοια κίνηση ίσως να του εξασφάλιζε κάτι το παραπάνω σε νίκες (και πάλι ίσως) αλλά σίγουρα θα είχε τόσο αρνητικό αντίκτυπο στο image του Γερμανού που οικονομικά θα ήταν βέβαιη καταστροφή.
