Guys (and girls if any)
I have an 1989 Isuzu Gemini 16Valve with Handling by Lotus that I am thinking of bringing over to Greece. I am in the process for the past 4 years of building 2 spare engines to bring with me, one with a turbo and one with Nitrous. Is it a good idea (to bring this car to Greece) or not.
I am aware that in 1989 Isuzu sold 9 cars in Greece. So I am sure you may have not seen the car.
I would like to attach a picture, but how do you do that in this forum?...

Dear Nick,
I can't really remember which model Gemini is . My thought goes to a 4-door sedan but this one doesn't inspire me for a nitrous engine nor for sporty driving. So, I might be wrong. If you could attach a picture of it...
What do you mean 'handling by Lotus'? Has Lotus designed its suspension or is it an after-market accesory (shock-absorbers or else) ?
Anyway, you should think twice before bringing all this staff to Greece because of 1. the taxes, 2. the different type of roads Europe (and especially Greece!) has comparing to the US and 3. the lack of experience by the mechanics and the lack of spare-parts.
I suppose you are aware of all this, but I will be happy to answer any question about driving in Greece and the peculiarities you might encounter.

Both Lotus and Isuzu belonged to General Motors as Opel/Vauxhall. There was a Opel Lotus Omega tweaked by Lotus and so on. Since Lotus used Isuzu engines for the Elan I guess they had some sort of cooperation in technical matters!
