Well it's been a week now since I've been in paradise. Oh man did I miss home. Lots of hot women, booze none stop flowing and lots of fast little hondas.

I had a brand spanking new Civic Type R waiting for me at the airport. What a perfect way to kick things off. And on the first night I hooked up with about 20 Hondas all supped up. I think it was something like 5 am I got home that night after a crazy night of vtecing around Athens.

OK Down with the serious car stuff.

I had my first track day yesterday. Got to play with two cars I've been waiting for a while to drive. Unfortunatly there were some problems with the track we booked but we ended up booking a Go Kart track that barely fits one car but it was still tons of fun.

The track however did no justice to any of the cars bellow. Only at one point could you go all out in second gear. So my review won't inform you of the true capabilities of these cars.

Car 1: 1995 Civic EG HB VTi. Stock comes with a B16.

This is an all go and little show car. A true traditional Greek type of car. Now you understand my philosophy.

The owner made sure this car was equipped with everything that could be put on to it. Every single bolt on imaginable. Interior gutted with two very nice red Sparco bucket seats and 4 point harnesses. Yes this car is a racers car. And thats what the owner does. He doesn't hesitate to admit to it or hide it.

For suspension it had H&R race springs. Every single bar made for the car. OZ Superliguerra 16' rims wrapped in some very very sticky Fulda low profile tires. Unfortunatly for some reason the owner left the stock shocks on and very quickly did I discover that the shocks were the cars weak point.

On the track this car was fun. The tires were awsome. The car actually turned really good. The rear Nuespeed Sway bar definetly did it's job. On most turns it was a drift fest. But the Fulda tires made sure you exited the turn nicely. I didn't hold back one bit. I went all out with this car and thats exactly what the owner wanted me to do. I ripped it just like I did at shanonville with mine.

The weak point was evident imediatly. Stock shocks. The rears rubbed under hard cornering and there was alot of body role. Some Koni Yellows will fix that quickly.

The tranny and shifter is awsome for a 8 year old car. Not one single grind. And the gears just snap in. The throws are extremely short on the shifter and very very percisse.

Off the track the car seems fast and talking amongst my fellow club members here they say it definetly is. I only got a little preview the first night from a street light. The three cars were the gutted EG I'm talking about. A Stock 2003 CTR with 2 passengers and me in a 1990 EF stock Civic with a B16 and 4 people in the car. Obviously the EG pulled but not as much as I expected. Only 1 car length vs the CTR and only 2-3 vs the stock old man EF civic with 4 people in it. However as people say the thing is damn fast in a straight line and I'll get to test it a few times more. As is the car is very untunned. Were gonna hit the dyno sune with a Wideband O2 sensor to sort things out and get it running properly.

      ** 2003 Civic Type R completly stock**
This is the car that was waiting for me at the airport. It's ONE HOT SEXY CAR. It looks sick and very intimidating. Our SiR version of the EP3 looks wimpy and is wimpy in front of it. The stock 17' gunmetal rims and the OEM Boddy kit make it look scary to it's compitition. This aint no minivan by far. I definaetly see me owning one here withing the next year. I've been sold.

This isn't your average CTR off the line. It's the 30 Aniversary edition and honda has made only a handfull. Estimated delivery for one is about a year after you have payed full in advance. OUCH.

Honda made sure this little beast was well built and all details were thought out. The interior finishing is perfection. The stock Recaro Bucket seats are awsome. The placment of the shifter makes things feel odd at first but you quickly get used to it and it feels no different.

On the track now. Lets keep in mind I had a very rare and expensive vehicle in my hands now. I took this car after the EG Civic. The EG Civic I ripped around hard for ****s and Giggles. This car I treated differently. I wanted to get around the track as fast as I could and made sure I mastered the line of the track. I didn't bother or carred with impressing the public watching. No tire sqweeling or hot roding. Just pure tracking and wanting to take it around the turns as fast as possible. The owner had done this track before. H did 5 laps in it with me as a passenger. Then it was my turn. We quickly saw how our race lines were very different. So was the behaviour of the car with the two different drivers.

Remember this car was stock. The track was very unfare to it. By far this car is a race oriented car money can buy for the street in the sport coupe segment. But the track and this track was not the street. It was very nuetral around the corners if the line was picked properly. Boddy role was there. But remember it was stock suspension. Nothing a nice suspension combo can't fix. At some points there were traces of understeer. Unfortunatly just like in every case same here. Honda keeps the good stuff in Japan. No LSD for the CTR's outside of Japan. However the tires don't do the car justice either. Once more Honda picked an inferior tire for a well bade and designed car. At some points the Bridgestone RE 040's (I think) were all over the place. Tires would be an awsome mod for this car. But then again so would they be for ours.

In a stright line now. I'm gonna take this car again for a spin and give my impressions. All I could tell from the mini straight that was at the track and topping out 2nd was it felt very similar tou the lude. I felt at home there. The power is very lenear and delivery is smooth. Something I complimeneted the owner for.

I'll give more details about this car later on when I take it for some more spins and possibly in my hunt for some late night victims.

      1990 EF Civic with a B16

This car is completly stock with the exception of an air filter. And alot of goodies I brought for it waiting to be installed. hehe.

I LOVE THIS CAR. It's old school. It's simple. It's blastingly fast. I've already done a 4 hour trip in it. With 2 people in it and about 200 lbs of lugauge in the back. It did well. It held it's ground against the 2 cars above in our mini run with 4 people in it.

After our 20 club bar hopping night and about 20 Vodka and Lemon juice drinks I told the owner to pass over the keys. haha he was in no beeter shape than I was. But it was 6am so there was no traffic besides racers and bar hoopers going home.

I let this little car have it. I ripped it from a stand still 1st threw 3rd. haha I thought I was at St. Thomas and I was running against Joel. haha You should of seen the look on the owners face. He said 'My god I've never seen anyone shift like that' bbwwaaahaha

For a 13 year old car the car was amazing. Not one little vibrasion or sound of fatigue. The shifting was amazing. Like butter. But once gunning it it didn't feel like the lude or the others above. If felt like you had less control of the car compared to ours and the other 2 above. Or it could of been just me and the 20 vodkas I had.

This car has suspension work done to it. Koni Yellows with H&R race. I'm gonna test it on the turns tonight or tomorrow.

      2001 VW Golf
This is my sisters car. I'll give more details about this later cause I'm off to the beach. All I can say for now it's a POS TRASH CAR. I would never buy one. My family always was a Audi/VW fans. Before the Lude I have 3 of my own Audi's and I still do have one here in storage but needs alot of work to get it running after 8 years of not starting it once. Even my dad was a huge beleaver of the VAG cars. After I let him take a run and rip the lude he changed relegion. Yup VTEC does that to you.

I've only done 10km in my sisters car. Everything that could go wrong to it happened to me. Windows fallong threw the doors and busting. Fueses blowing. You name it. I handed her the keys right back after one day and said you can pay me to go drop it of the port and into the ocean (hehe see no lake here). She's got here hearts set on a CTR to now. We'll see how that goes.

      ** 1978 Lancia Beta**
Ahh the old man is awsome. Thats my daily driver now. I feel right at home with this car. Similar dimensions to the lude. And if you were to pic the Lude of the 70's for sure this is it. I wanted to track it but I didn't want to risk something happening to it and having a ***** of a time finding parts for it. Simply put it puts my sisters 2001 Golf to shame.

Now your all gona ask how does the Prelude compare to the 3 Honda siblings I talked about above. Well like a Said. These are early reviews. So it's not very fair to the cars above. Also unless you have the lude on a track to campare head on or on the street everything is arbitrary.

I can't remember what a stock lude feels like. Some of you have driven mine. And for shizzle it's different. So what do I compare? My modded lude vs a crazy EG or a stock CTR?

In a straight line I think it's all driver and all three would be very close. In the turns however even with the stock tires I had the Lude owns. But I'm gonna take the CTR for a few more turns. But it definetly needs a suspension combo and tires to make it perfection around the corners.

Damn I miss the lude. Let me tell ya. If I had it here there would be alot of heads turning since they never have seen one in person or one or 2. On the turns wich is 95% of Greece it would own everything in sight. You just can't beat our Double Wishbone suspension and the rigid frame design the lude has.
